- Leave Wick on the A882 headed for Thurso.
- Follow the A882 for approximately 14.5 miles.
- Turn left onto the A9 headed for Inverness.
- Follow the A9 over the humpback bridge at Georgemas Junction.
- Remaining on the A9 contine for approximately 1.5 miles.
- Turn right at the junction signed for Halkirk.
- Follow road for approximately 200 metres.
- Turn right into Achalone Activities.
From Reay
- Leave Reay on the A836 headed for Thurso.
- Follow the A836 for approximately 1 mile.
- Turn right onto the B874 headed for Thurso.
- Follow the B874 for approximately 8.5 miles.
- Turn right at B874 headed for Halkirk and continue for approximately 5 miles.
- Pass straight through Halkirk over the railway crossing headed for Westerdale.
- Take the first left after the railway crossing signposted Inverness.
- Follow road and take the last left into Achalone Activities.
